Brooklyn Salsa Company -- FRESH

This company started down the hall from me in my old building. I've watched it grow from a small home run business to a nationally distributed product across America. Brooklyn Salsa is a fresh and innovative way to enjoy party condiments. Its organic, its local, its Brooklyn, its the face of America.

Roller Skating Jam Video Of The Day -- Throwback

Lil Suzy - Take Me In Your Arms

I love these throwbacks. When I was growing up it was still cool to spin freestyle music at block parties. The Music industry was also in a very different state of thought process. The rules of pop culture from my childhood are much different then the current rules of the media today. I think thats why so many of us enjoy these older jams we grew up with. This is a dope tune takes me back to Skateaway in Whitehall PA where I use to get my shuffle skate on and bag lil shawtys to skate with.

I'm Rich Bitch -- Video Of The Day -- Rick James & Smokey Robinson -- Ebony Eyes

One of my favorite jams. I picked this one up from my mother growing up. She loves Rick James and she loves Smokey Robinson. This music video is a timeless classic. Its a standard for what we enjoy today. This song is a love banger right here. Could make a few babies to this jam.

HECTOR LAVOE

I choose this as my video of the day cause I have a tremendous amount of respect for Hector Lavoe and his contributions to Latin music. He was one of a kind and is a musical wonder to his genre. My fascination with Latin music and culture originates in my family's very diverse cultural background. I can understand spanish can speak it alright if I have too. I love the culture and the language it inspires me a lot. Growing up I played the trumpet and my inspiration to want to learn the trumpet came from my liking of listening to the local Latin Music station LA MEGA. I love the use of horns in Latin music especially Salsa. Hector Lavoe is truly the voice of his people he is loved by many from all different backgrounds and I think that is beautiful. A language barrier yes but the music is beautiful and it brings us all together. My mission as a DJ/Songwriter/Poet/Producer is to be able to do the same. Make priceless music that brings people together no matter what language or cultural background they come from.

DJ Precision Of The X-Ecutioners

Was in midtown yesterday stopped by Rock & Soul to pick up new scratch records to chop for my homie A.M. Breakups for a few songs that are in the working. I'm not a puritan type of DJ nor the best scratch artist but I have a lot of respect for the craft. I aspire to work hard and master all my mind can imagine. I can't claim to have a crazy collection of records or drag crates with me to all my gigs its ok though I'm cool with the mockery. The guys from that era deserve all the bragging rights in the world true story. I always got love and respect for the foundation they laid. This is just a little clip of what was happening at Rock & Soul when I walked in. DJ Precision Of The X-Ecutioners chopping it up.

Just another day in my random life.
